In 1888, in an experimental shop on 89 Liberty Street, New York, Nikola Tesla broke the mechanical and electrical barrier with his newest groundbreaking invention, the first AC motor  ; an invention soon to be used worldwide.

Nikola Tesla, a Serbian-American inventor, has invented things that are crucial the the current world we live in. Yet, his name is not known by most. His inventions have changed the world, some of them, you even use every day in your daily life. One such invention, is AC. AC is used in a variety of things today, like charging your phone. A popular car brand was even named after him.
